Bladder leakage problem when running.?

I have been running for some time however in the last few years no matter how often I go to the restroom I still have leakage when I run.I know there are many females my age who run .Is ther anyone out there who have a simaliar problem and what5 can I do other than give up running.
Answer:
Check with your doctor, however if you are over 45, most women DO start to have "leakage" . you don't need to stop running, however, and you don't need to be fussing with a full protective UNDERGARMET.. Several companies make bladder control PADS that are similar to sanitary napkins but bigger... they take about a DAY to get used to wearing but after that, they are comfortable and give you all the protection you will need from your small leakage problem. They come is several different sizes depending on the leakage amount so experiment with the smallest size first and go to the thicker ones IF you need to. Oh and you can do every kind of exercise comfortably in these PADS, except of course water sports...
Ask your doctor, there are sometimes things they can give you to help with the incontinence. Also, you may want to look into some type of undergarment protection just to be on the safe side. Good luck, and keep on running!!
