Birthcontrol without period?

Is it okay to take birthcontrol for 3 weeks and instead of going on your period break can i just start with the next package
so i dont have to have my period?
Answer:
You need to talk with your doctor about this. She could give you an answer based on your personal health history.

However, I know that Seasonale (birth control pill product), reduces the number of periods you have to just a few per year, using that same principle. Ask your doctor if this might be right for you. But don't just do it on your own. There may be some health issues you need to address first or side effects you may need to know about before you %26 your doctor make that decision.
No i don't think you can. But there is this birth control that causes you to have your period for only 3 days .
It's perfectly fine. When I was on birth control I discussed it with my doctor and she said it was fine to skip my period and just start a new pack after the 3rd week instead of taking the "dud pills." I did it often when I wanted to skip my period.
NO!! that is not ok, you will end up with something that you won't want to deal with.. Most women who have done this have developed breast cancer..
Talk to your doctor to see if you can eliminate a few periods..
Yes, you can!

Doctors speak of "multi-cycling" your pill, because you take more than one "cycle" (i.e. month pack). Many women use this method to either postpone their menses because they head up to a trip abroad, an important exam, their honeymoon etc.; other women use this method to get rid of their menses and only choose to bleed three times a year, or twice a year - it is up to you.

If you have more questions just ask your gynae about it.
