Birth control?

What's the average percentage of how effective birth control is against pregnency?
Answer:
depends on which form of birth control. For example the rhythm method is at 70%, condoms 97%, and oral contraceptives at 99% if taken correctly.
It can range from 97%-99.9% effective... that's WITH correct use, meaning you use it exactly as directed.
99% effective if used correctly.
I assume you mean the birth control pill.

It is 99% effective. Honestly, I think that the only reason they don't say 100% is that it's technically impossible to prove anything completely. The birth control pill prevents ovulation. With no egg, fertilization and pregnancy cannot occur.

The only case in which it would not be effective is if the woman has forgotten to take her pills for a while, allowing ovulation to occur.

I hope I helped!
it depends on which one you take. i'm on ortho tricyclen lo and the info pamphlet inside says 95% but condoms are always good because they're cheap and you don't need a perscription.
