Well my friend judy s now14 im still 12 well shes done weed but now for a while now but she has been smoking ciggarettes alot lately i told her this would happen but shes worried now ..what can she do from preventing it to show up in her bllood that she smokes ..i suggested she drink water but i dont kow if that helps?
Answer:
If she has smoked weed within the last 30days it will show up on a blood test no matter what you do!! I should mention that smoking weed even in small amounts can not only lead to other drug addictions but can also fry your brain cells. It may seem cool now, but in 10 years time it will seem really, really dumb! Is it really worth it?
what was the blood test for?
When u go for a physical at the doctor's office the blood test they order is a CBC(complete blood count) which looks at your red bloods cells, platelets, and white blood cells.
Your best bet is to talk to an adult about your friend. Either one of your parents, a teacher, counselor or minister. Your friend is putting her health and life at risk, so even though she may hate you for doing it you must tell someone.

Blood starts at the string of the tampon/misses the tampon?
When i put in a tampon in the blood starts at the end closest to the string?
what am i doing wrong[1st time user]
and i plan on going swimming tomarrow.
[and is it safe to go in the ocean with tampon??]
Answer:
Do you mean when you're putting in the tampon or taking it out?
The blood flows outwards, so it should start at the top of the tampon. Make sure the area is wiped clean first then insert it with the string outside you. You'll know when it's snug inside because you won't be able to feel it.
If the string is bloody after a little while, it might mean you need a stronger tampon (maybe a super). If the string is bloody in this case, it just means the tampon is fully used and the blood is getting past it.
It's fine to use in the water, just make sure to change regularly and you shouldn't have any mishaps.
I wouldn't go in the ocean while having my period or with any kind of wound. Sharks.
eewww wtf?
Rut Roh. Don't. Go. In. The. Water. Sharks are drawn to blood. Seriously.
U probably aren't positioning it correctly. Follow the instructions on the pack. I wouldn't go swimming when it's totm, pretty gross.
gynecologists say no. it's pretty dangerous cause the tampon gets the dirty water and keep it inside you which can cost you an infection...
you should wash the area before you put the tampon inside, do whatever the manual sais and it should be ok :o)
every body is different.
some people only get blood on the "end tip" of the tampons because they are producing a lot of other discharge at the time (i do) and that is soaked in first, the blood soaks in near the end tip.
so long as it stays where it's supposed to be, and you can't feel that it's in there after 2 minutes, you've got it right.
perfectly safe to swim in the oceans as i saw on a documentary last week that they have proven that sharks are NOT attracked to human blood. this was a previously thought notion, that you shouldn't worry about anymore as it's been proven wrong.
xx
You need to insert it deeper. It should be deep enough you cannot actually feel the tampon, just the string.
Yes you can swim with a tampon. Make sure the string is tucked in and not out the leg of your swim suit.

Blood in Stool?
last week my urine was a little cloudy but i figured it was a vitamin deficiency but today i noticed what i think is blood in my stool. I'm 17 and i have endimitriosis, could it have to do with that or is it something else. Should i go see my normal doc. or my gyn.?
Answer:
I have experienced that a few years ago, I believe your body is lacking fibre. Which can be found in wheat, bran, fruits and vegetables. I didn't go to the doctor because it didn't last that long. But if your worried about your condition I would suggest that you receive some medical advice and see a doctor.
Good Luck
Go see either doctor, but just go. Was it red blood or black tarry stool? It makes a difference. Either way, don't wait.

Bloating?
Im always bloated and its extremly annoying, i feel so uncomfotable and fat.. what can i do to get rid of it... it seems to happend almost everyday alot in the moring before i go to school.
Answer:
What are you eating for breakfast? Maybe you could cut out dairy or fatty foods and that would help.
If not, simethicone works great and is very safe. You can get it generic at Target.
I am going to a nutritionist and she said bloating is your body retaining water. She suggested i squeeze lemon in my water and i did. it helps!!
If you are always bloated it could well be in what you eat.
People with an allergy to wheat are usually bloated and tired and cranky. Find out if you are Celiac by asking your doctor to test your allergies.

Bloating question??
Just out of curiousity, how much water can a woman retain (in pound wise) when she is menstruating.. I seem to always feel so bloated and I can definitly notice a difference in how my clothes (mainly jeans/pants) when im coming off my monthly..
Answer:
I do not think anyone can measure water intake or retaining water as every woman is different and no one, to the est of my knowledge ever did a research on this subject. The bloating is definitely one of the symptoms of PMS and as its normal, I guess you have to live with it, probably by a special pair of jeans for these "bloating days: :)

Bloated stomach?
I been bloated over a week! It seems as though everytime I drink, my belly looks as if im pregnant. I always get it and I don't know why. I'm due in a few days so I don't know if it's a cause of getting my period or just getting fat even though at the doctors the other week, I weighed 90 lbs? I also never really do the number two and before I tried to open my dorm window and it hurt like heck just trying to open it. It hurt my lower back and my chest area.
Answer:
You probably have IBS (irriatble bowl syndrome) with constapation. You need to go to your doctor to get a better diagnosis. I also have very horrible bloating frequently and I used to take Zelnorm to help. The Federal gov't pull it off the market about a month ago due to riks (such as heart attacks). In the mean time, I have essentially 'lived' with the pain; however, this is what has helped a bit for me: Excercise (especially running), Drinking tons of water (it will make you FEEL more bloated at first, but after a few days, you will feel better), Take fiber laxatives (Pills are easier to deal with then the powder), and if you really, really can't go, take a glycerin suppository (won't get rid of the bloat, but it will make you go). Hope that helped
